For those who have found Musings by M, entitled Illuminations of Love, for the first time, I want to thank you for being here with me.
Musings by M has become a way for me to express my emotions, thoughts, and feelings, and as I have encountered them these past few years.
Throughout my life, I have written, usually in a journal format. This practice has allowed my thoughts to flow onto the page, providing clarity to what I was thinking, feeling, or struggling with. Time and again, it has helped me sort things out. Sometimes, it has caused confusion, but it can create understanding for me.
This is the second volume of what has become a series titled Illuminations of Love. These books contain writing that reflects my thoughts as I navigate through my daily life. They are not poetry in the traditional sense but more of a free-flow style, which I hope you enjoy. Each one will have an introspection explaining where my mind and heart were when I wrote each one. You can choose to read them or explore your own thoughts and feelings.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Matthew A Cone
Matthew A. Cone grew up in California. The town was small and reasonably quiet. His imagination was always a big part of his life.
He knew his creative side needed an outlet, and writing became one of the ways he expressed it. He discovered writing because of a creative writing segment in school. This was the beginning of it all.
Matthew has journaled, written prose, and found a sense of expression that led to many pages that stayed hidden, except for a few he shared with close friends and family, and maybe a few with his love interest.
Matthew A. Cone has never considered himself a great writer. But he continues to write and produce books. After starting a previously published series that continues to grow, he decided, with some help, to venture into the realm of fiction. Matthew A. Cone continues to push his creativity by beginning this new series. A fictional crime series entitled “Sacrifice of the Badge.”
