I want to dedicate this to someone who knows who they are. Without her, none of this would have been displayed publicly. She has inspired me to be more open and rawer in my writing, sometimes channeling her spirit and worldview. She is an amazing person - those who have the privilege of getting to know her will never forget her.

This wonderful individual assisted me in discovering a courage that I never knew existed, buried deep within me. She empowered me to express my true feelings, even in my darkest moments, which were previously hidden and unshared by others. She became my muse that day, as it's been said that every artist requires one.

Thank you, amazing lady, for showing me that love for another person goes far beyond the physical and into the outer reaches of the farthest galaxy. Even though our relationship has changed over time, we have still remained close. Our families have merged into one large web of fun and a well-lived life.

I'm sharing this with you, dear reader, in the hope that you will find strength in knowing that you can overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Even when you find yourself walking through the darkest of nights, remember that the sun will always shine down on you in the dawn of a new day.
